        This excuse has been used time and time again to excuse things like slavery. Things that are just played off as a "product of the times"
        "It was normal back then"

        Just because something is normal in the world that doesn't mean that it isn't evil.

        A common theme with the atrocities in this novel is that whenever millions suffer only one guy or a couple of dudes benefits. Causing pain and suffering for so many for your own benefit is objectively evil.

        Obviously the reason they don't have to care is because of their individual power, however that doesn't mean that they aren't evil.

        The way I see it 99% of people here are evil peices of shit so I don't feel any attachment to any of them and read for the story.

          Dude u don't understand anything I said he is evil even a piece of shit that's the whole point of the story but the author manipulates the story as "necessary evil" if u know wt I mean and this guy is completely opposite of my favourite MC from "The regressor tale of cultivation". I'll say it again if he wants to become truly strong the path he took is the correct one(only for strength) but not the good (benevolent) one. As for the old times ya it's shit and obviously ppl will say in old times it's common because that's how it's used to be but to be honest now a days it's not any better either by the times go on shit only gets worst. If ppl think it's better then past it means they are yet to see/experience the world clearly and that's for the best if they are having good life. This is a different world(ab novel) where ppl who have ntg can only achieve strength with being an asshole like the FY. Don't just see the only evil see the entire vileness of the world and ignore childish comments. Only understand things don't follow em only then u can get the clear picture only then u can enjoy (enjoy has different meanings btw) any kind of story not only this.
