so now, choosing the strength path and it's real connection with 3Ki have been revealed. thought it was all donut.

In ancient times, strength path was mainstream. But now that times have changed, strength path was eliminated, on the brink of extinction. Those who truly cultivated strength path to a high level, were even rarer.

this though... and they're all popping up one by one.

The central continent's inheritance is still much greater than the three kings inheritance.

Wtf, two or three things I have to say.
    1. Fang Yuan said he would have the capability of a second set of Gu, but every Gu master is theroretically capable of holding an unlimited number of Gu, as was explained in the very beginning of this novel, so what’s that about?

    2. Fang Yuan is Rank 4 but has a 50% chance of refining an immortal Rank 6 Gu??? Even with all the premises (that ancient Gu immortals preparation, the immortal essence in the cauldron and Fang Yuan‘s 500 years of experience) a 50% chance of success is way too high! This makes rank 6 Gu refinement seem trivial! Even the sects of Central Continent only have 2 or 3 immortal Gu each! How could it be this easy?

    3. How tf did Fang Yuan have a 20% chance of success in refining Spring Autumn Cicada??? I could swear it was mentioned before that he tried uncountable times to refine before he actually succeeded, but with a 20% success chance he should have only needed to try around 5 times statistically. 20% also makes this Gu refinement seem trivial! Even with all the lost resources each failure would cost, the sects should had way more than 2 or 3 rank six Gu each

The only possible explanation I can think of is that the two apertures would not conflict with each other. As for the success rate, the author is just going wild.

Statstically, a 20% chance does not mean you are assured to do it in five tries, it is not a quota to be fulfilled until attaigning a 100% like 20%x5=100%, but it rather means that on each try, you have a 20% chance of succeeding, that is, first try: 20% chance of success, second try : still 20% chance of success and so on and so on

Yeah, I know how probabilities work.
A 20% chance still means that it’s likely to succeed within five tries. Any failure after that is just that much more improbable.
The chance for repeated failures would be (1/5)^n with n being the times tried.

This is so cool, 2 apertures is really nice. He can probably do two paths at once. One for Close Combat and the other for Long Range/Extreme Utility.
