    Though Fang Yuans ideology and beliefs are interesting, they're just that, interesting. Don't actually actively do any of the things he does like burn down children. I know there are some of you out there who is actually thinking about doing this.

    I think the best you can learn from this novel is how to be more aware of yourself and the society around you. Be critical but don't lose your humanity for it. You were born to love and trust, not be like Fang Yuan (you'd get bodied by guns my guy if you try irl). There is strength in yourself just as much as there is in others if you find the right people.

      That's such a superficial breakdown. His ideology is interesting but it really encapsulates this world and the ways to tread it, obviously you can't kill and commit crimes for your goals in todays world, there are laws and order. But paths, something that fangyuan keeps quoting throughout the whole series, thats the core of his ideology and something that is every changing for his goal of immortality, sure it's a fictional goal to a fictional character, but the way he moves on his path is inspiring with the cold hard truth that the world is not a fair place, since it is "his path", and that is something to learn from, not his actions or the consequences, just the fact he's a demon following his goals with all his might and no regrets.

    Man, i liked this novel, its refreshing to see this new type of character and ya i saw some comments loving this novels but just a reminder guys, dont idolize this kind of character, you might adapt his twisted personality that'll scary tbh.
