    A human would most likely faint if their skull were cut open. The brain floats in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) to protect it from impact and absorb shocks. If this fluid leaks out, I think it's likely to faint. Cutting into the skull might cause pain, but the brain itself doesn't have pain receptors. However, to speak or shout, you still need the brain functioning, and without the fluid to cushion it, even a small shock could be enough to make someone lose consciousness.

    Also, since neurons transmit electrical signals, touching or exposing them could potentially cause an electrical discharge or disrupt normal neural activity, possibly leading to a sudden shutdown.

    There are other safety measures also, like in case of intense pain in any body part, brain can turn off senses in that region making it numb, or dull. So, often people just after accident won't feel pain, its not only because of adrenaline.
