                  Don’t slander LOTM man. I’ve read both TLM and LOTM, and while I agree there are some shortcomings here and there, the beginning was amazing. It instantly gave off that 19th-century mechanical-era vibe mixed with supernatural elements — plus that crimson moon and the blood in very first chapter was like going through a detective type of mystery thriller! The initial chapters were absolute fire. Even as I slowly got used to the world, still the world-building was still best.

          for my take on this, I liked the first arc alot, it was probably the best. Rather than say bad I'd say the other novels here have higher peaks.

          So like Shadow Slave is consistenly good but rarely GREAT
