If the liquor worm's will is so troublesome, can't he just... I don't know... bash its head with a rock until it's asleep? nose

Yeah I understand that gu master need more money, but they also are more capable than normal human so it's minus out that. You can't say their life is more difficult just cause of it.

I don't think the point is that Gu masters have it harder. It's just, being a Gu master isn't as all that as it may seem, they still have their own struggles. It's just the idea of "the grass is always greener".

Unfortunate but understandable in this situation. The Gu from the flower monk is like the leftover will of a cultivator in other novels, or an artifact. Having to refine that means using one's own will and power but if it was an artifact previously used by a powerhouse, one would have to destroy the wisp of soul, or their sense, will or power leftover in it before it can be used.

Yeah but sadly after refinement it will lose its will , I hope that the fact it was rank 5 before will mean it's already better quality than normal one

I really don't like when authors explain a single event again and again. Like we all are dumb here and need thorough explanation as if it's some engineering topic.

Its not that we're the dumb ones, it's that the author is a dumb one, since he's you know, Chinese and all.

If there's one thing that Chinese novels have taught me then it's that Chinese authors intelligence is usually below average

Race has nothing to do with intelligence. I'm surprised with how many people on this site can't seem to fathom that. If you had read anything other than chinese webnovels, then you would realize that webnovels suck no matter the ethnicity of the author. I don't know what made you believe otherwise.

There have been people who have skimmed the information, and then claimed something didn't make sense further in. There are seriously some pretty dumb readers on here.

the author loves difficulties lmao firstly, we are shown mc with c grade talent, then it was only at the very last moment when his primeval stones almost finished did he found liquor gu and now that gu has strong will and need more stones..

i mean, it's just kinda showing a realistic situation, not everything will go according to plan. I'm guessing that even though the Liquor Gu has requires more stones i'm guessing the previous rank 5 identity might help
