I don't like nor hate him, it's a 15 year old kid who has been traumatized by the experiences he had, and he is goofy and naive enough due to age, to pin those pains on his brother.

Pretty good so far, power system also seems interesting. I heard a lot of good things about this novel and that it's comparable to the peak that is LOTM so I hope it only gets better

Well the younger brother was treated poorly compared to MC so something like this is shock and ecstasy just like people who were poor and won on lottery they feel like they are on top of the world and spend everything without thinking

Do they? Everyone, and I mean everyone so far are seemingly pursuing their self-interest and are quite selfish. Uncle/Aunty only care about how they can benifit from the brothers, same for the servant girl, Elders only care about the most talented and push others aside, even though they ideally shouldn't if they want to have them feel a sense of belonging and unity since they'll be part of the clan's workforce eventually, and the younger brother who now relish in his brother's misery to a degree? Although his case is a bit believable, but still, the mentality ends up being similar to others.

I don't see a single person who has some integrity and is different from the kind of people mentioned above.

Very blatantly, a world where concepts such as compassion, care, etc seemingly don't exist (not even a single example) is being portrayed; a dog eat dog world. (extremely so)

Feels like the author wants this to be MC against the whole world. Where everyone in the world looks down on and hates the MC, which will lead to the MC being apathetic and uncaring, well he already is kinda, but he'll continue to be like that then? And, that's a very uninteresting kind of perspective imo. An uncaring stoic MC that will continue to make optimal choices to grow stronger.

That's like my only gripe so far, the world being so skewed that is. I had high expectations coming in, given the sheer amount of praises of this novel.

It only feels decent so far, will see how it goes.
