After this news spreads nobody would be willing to join Orpal either. Hahaha he's f**ked.

I'm still shocked that anyone is even on his side.
Yes, I understand that my logic is universal. For example, the militaries of superpowers are quite capable of adopting even ordinary socks if they prove they can be used effectively to commit genocide. Biological and chemical weapons were once so popular.
But I still find it difficult to understand.
Even considering that plants don't have such obvious prejudices against the undead, for example. We all remember the episode in the city of plants, where the undead plant fought for influence with Titania.
But Orpal's powers are a bit different. At least the undead are members of the Council of the Awakened, which can be used as an argument. But Orpal's Ghouls are outlaws. Accepting his powers is like covering yourself in drugs and hanging around a police station...

I think it has more to do with the fact that plant folks are not normally so social in the first place, nor do they have some kind of universal governing body and principles. Their morals and values are way too incompatible with the rest of Mogar. Even tracking them down is a behemoth of a task considering they can literally comouflage anywhere, this gives them more than enough incentives to join poopie.

On top of all these points Awakened were never really sane and logical in the first place, the older they are the more nonsensical they have acted throughout the story. Whether it is the lesser divine beasts that can go to any lengths to become full fledged divine beasts or human awakened trying to kidnap lith's family or dumbass divine beasts being very arrogant even though 2 to 3 awakened together can kill them.

I can keep going on and on about this, simply awakened don't seem to be getting wiser with age but stupider instead.

You're right. That's why I mentioned that with my human logic, I can't fully, at least without special effort, understand the Plants—the Awakened—and their choices.
And yes, a significant portion of the Awakened are animals, and their morality is quite animalistic—the strongest wins. Eat when you're hungry.
I still have trouble understanding how the Magic Wolf and the Magic Deer interact. Does the wolf eat the deer? Or do they only eat the younger, "non-magical" deer? The logical assumption is that the Magic Wolf eats only ordinary deer, like in the Chronicles of Narnia. "If an animal speaks, it is not eaten."
Returning to plants, they are even more severe than animals: They practice cannibalism or something close to it. While most animals have a pack instinct, plants are all individualists, with rare exceptions in the form of symbiotic relationships.

I am pretty sure at this point that the whole Mogar, each and every person drink gallons and gallons of stupid juice every day. Everyone is so dumb that they are basically suicidal. And I don't even talk about regular folks. Several chapters ago some stupid Awakened bums attacked family of our dear protagonist the Supreme Magus. His official publicly known kill list should be several kilometers long. He is famous for his tracking skills and for deleting bloodline (publicly with forbidden magic and extreme prejudice btw) of some guy who kidnapped his dad. In the village which survived several attacks of very powerful individuals. And yet this geniuses thought that forming the Suicide Squad to attack his village going to be a fantastic idea. The results are exactly the same as the previous suicide squad who tried to kidnap his mom for some enchanted trinkets from Menadion. They are all has been brutally murdered.

And now stupid Jorl joined Poopie King's army. And turns out it's not all sunshine and rainbows. Turns out that Poopie King treats his new subordinates same as old subordinates. And of course his powers come with some hidden costs. What a surprise! Who could've thought?
Now Jorl is in a peculiar position between rock (Meln) and a hard place (Black Throne). And he thinks he can betray outsmart and outmaneuver not only Poopie but that ancient monster Black Throne. Yeah, right. I don't like his chances. Black Throne had probably seen couple of dozens such schemers among his "pet projects".
