    Something I wanted to know is what causes a guardian to fall, and can they also become abominations?

      Remember when the Guardian of Child first describe her training with leegain? they have a bond with Mogar and through it with the rest of living beings specially those related to their theme of guardianhood. She panic and learn to live with it because the only way to shut it down is achieving white core but doing it too early makes them prom to keep it shut and they turn mad. Probably the ishara guardian kept her bond closed too long making her fancy more the goodness of her specie above general balance of the world, a mortal form of thinking, but certainly not a Guardian's, something happened and she choose as mother or mortal, and Mogar deemed her unfit to kept the position. It's likely something like that. That's why guardians only move freely within the binds of their duty, anything else and they appear indolent like when leegain could save his daughter but let her almost die unless she accepted his conditions, his duty didn't allow him help her and let her be a threat born from his knowledge and fatherly feelings.

    The fall from grace of the Mother of All Isharas and the misfortunes that had befallen her offspring had led them to consider Mogar as a god and do everything they could to please the planet.


    does this bit mean that they consider Mogar like an "angry" god and thus make an effort to venerate and please her?
