      Not really so weird if you think about it, when you’re young you want to do things older people do (drive, go places etc) so you hurry it up or in school sometimes people cheat just to get it done with.

      To study the basics like the math table until you fully understand it 100 then move on is harder to do sometimes then do division etc every step 100 memorized and understood would be basically that ig

    I feel bad for Li Qiye. Yea op mega knowledge big brain guy, eyes can’t deceive him, ect ect he just needs to cultivate and he’s a big bad grandpa, but he’s a couple million years old. Imagine how much things and people you can meet in that time frame? Mans met women, men, children, beasts that he connected with and they all died in front of his eyes. Imagine the pain and anguish he felt? And then think of it this way: he taught a little brat who was obsessed with martial arts and gave him knowledge on cultivation, now his descendants are on the verge of death because of the suppression of the kingdom they got conquered from. He wants to help, but he’s not strong enough and the more he tries the more he’s suppressed by the people who are supposed to help their sect. Hes too old to show off, he just does what he knows how to do. He’s always been strong so ofc he won’t change his attitude. Honestly, it’s a blessing he doesn’t wipe the sect and rebuild it. I would probably in his shoes because of the frustration, but he ignores it. This character is so well written. Holy shit
