So this is why Alferis the dragon was studying dreams. Fernando made him do it so he could make Cole dream of his head exploding. To act as a buffer. Wow. swim

it must be assumed that the emission and absorption of energy are discontinuous, but in portions
cited from paper of Lucien Evans X

to better understand this it means that any object or Body when absorbed or radiates energy it not Continuous, but in form of packet of Energy, 'photon'.
Electron absorbed one Photon which have energy equal to different between two energy levels and thus electron get exited and then after some time electron spontaneously release energy inform of 'photon' and come again into ground state,
Energy; electromagnetic radiation is not Continuous but discrete in form of photon,

I had previously received a spoiler that Lucien's future partner would be Natasha, well that was quite surprising to me, and after knowing that I had many very important questions, would Lucien tell her that he was not from this world? but rather a transmigrator, and telling him about the secret of the library that is in his mind?, that would explain many of the impossible feats and accomplishments that he achieved, and I'm sure that when that is told to Natasha, she will feel that Lucien is not as something special that he thinks about and maybe a bit disappointed or he still accepts it for what it is (like Kamila from the novel Supreme Magus) or Lucien keeps it a secret forever, and in that question it makes me develop a theory, that actually the world that Lucien lives in now is is the earth (I was inspired from LOTM1)

    Damn, life -1.

It's like a mental breakdown cause people can't accept the truth of the world. They have/are constantly consuming/fed lies for probably their whole life. Hm, this seems very familiar... Except these novel characters actually question their belief using logic. Others however I can't say for certain.

It's simple, the religious guys have 'faith/belief' in god. And the magicians have this 'belief' in any one or multiple theories which is the basis of their cognitive world. So when the theory they believe in is overturned, if they can't quickly adapt to it, their cognitive world will be disrupted/destroyed/overturned leading to their brain exploding.

They don't suicide dumbf#ck. Imagine someone saying your mom isn't really your mom, that's what your belief was for your entire life and it was proven false instantly, which, if you don't adapt to the new truth within ten seconds you're dead (which is a rule cuz you failed to adapt).

you neander troglodyte who doesnt think with multiple threads. its suicide if you choose something that isnt fully explored and understood as a cognitive world thats possible to blow up your head when over turned.

Your logic can only work as a stopgap excuse for logic that ignores the past and future of the developement of an entire secret civilization that involves in exploding heads as a very possible life hazard.

especially when exploding heads is common place they would at minimum have a safety oriented system with classified tiered information management instead of broadcasting exploding knowledge.

Thus relative to common sense and multiple reality checks, nothing here makes sense. Which is my initial complaint kapeeesh?

I use translate so it's not my fault if you don't understand

That's exactly the point—they were studied thoroughly, even if that doesn't mean they were correct. New theories don't appear out of nowhere; they are built upon previous ones. For example, Cole took Brook's theory as a foundation and developed the theorem of equipartition of energy, which agrees with the available data and is therefore most likely correct.

They're human too, don't forget that. We also believe that objects we throw fall to the ground because of Earth's gravity, even if we haven't studied physics in depth. First, because almost everyone around us, scientists, books, and theories built upon that idea all support it. Second, because it makes logical sense: if you imagine that objects attract each other, then what we observe matches that explanation.

Besides, their worlds have to be based on someone's work. What better foundation than the most advanced theories available at the time?

It's also natural for people to believe that their own ideas are correct—though not absolutely. If they're shown convincing evidence that they're wrong, most people will change their minds (although, of course, some stubborn people won't). And it's not a given that a theory will turn out to be false. If a theory has strong evidence supporting it, then it's reasonable to think it's probably correct.

For example, spent much of his life developing and defending non-Euclidean geometry. His ideas were logical and well supported, yet they were not accepted at first. In the end, they turned out to be correct.

I bring up this example because his geometry had strong evidence behind it, just like Cole's theorem. I don't know enough about the history of science to give a better example, but the point is that when a theory is supported by solid evidence, it's reasonable to consider it most likely true.
