      The brilliance of this plot-armor is that it was forged from the very beginning, bit by bit, and so once it gets tested you're not like "hey wtf how'd this get here" but instead you see it as "yeah of course this absolutely makes sense." Cuttlefish plans out these Watsonian(in-narrative) explanations instead of simply throwing you a Doylist(haha me author me say so) plot armor and calling it a day.
