    I think on some level Amon isn't inherently evil. It does look like he's an *sshole from all the parasitizing, which he is, but I think on some level he lives so long that lives are worthless to him, when his interests would be furthered by taking those lives. But he's a prankster at heart, not some evil "haha me evil god me shank everyone" dude. Here, it neither furthers nor hinders his interests by sending the Abraham family Bethel's characteristics, so he does it as a sort of final act before he ascends.

    Well this is good. This means that Mr Door made sure to let his family members have His beyonder characteristics instead of Amon. Even the uniqueness of the Apprentice pathway seems to be part of the things that fell in front of Fors and the other members of the Abraham family I think.
