      Looks like mr. Door was already a king of angels with all 3 sequence 1 beyonder characteristics and the uniquennes. A ritual is only needed to reduce the chance of going mad. We know that door is corrupted by mother godess of deprivity, so i think she controls him to advance to sequence 0 without a ritual so she can have a true god avatar on earth before the apocalypse

        I stand corrected. The apotheosis ritual for seq0 Door is to escape the seal/banishment from a seq0 true god. And since Evernight and Storm sealed/banished Mr.Door and he just came back - he just fullfilled the apotheosis ritual.

    poor Mr.Door being used as a stepping stone crybaby on the plus side, it's a good situation for the Abrahams so verdu is actually the savior of the Abraham family(technically) while Amon reaps the harvest by stealing Door's apotheosis ritual most likely

      I know that Bethel wouldn’t do such thing, but what if theoretically Bethel out of spite say to Amon to go f#ck himself and allow MGoD to descend? I know that risk and reward are two sides of the same coin but Amon almost destroyed the world right there

    The clear hype aside, I wonder what was the ritual, for Door to be able to advance as soon as he came back.
    Based on fool having to fool fate and thief having to steal apotheosis, my guess would be breaching the seals of deities or sth else, but equally door and high level related.
