        Then what do you say ASG's state was? Slightly different from before? He was corrupted because God Almighty was trying to take over his body and spirit. And it doesn't have to be an Outer God to become corrupted. For example, imagine Klein's body is taken over by Amon, then Klein will become Amon, thus essentially Klein dying, and Amon is not an Outer God. This state is called Corruption. It is not something only Outer God can do.
