Why did Audrey do this? Wasn't she showing signs of recovering back then? Or did she not do it?either way it may be a good time for the mental terror candle to be used

Because she actually has morals and not just pretending like the rest of her family.

If Audrey caused this riot even towards her own family then she's stupid. Everything she has even her own beyonder sequence is because of her family, she had the money to buy the needed characteristics and so on purely because of her family's wealth, she also managed to start her path of a beyonder due to her family giving her the first few characteristics.

She obviously weighs the need of the people more than her love for her family. And it not a good or bad thing. Just what you prioritize

Of course but at the end of the day, you could just say that she's naive. Without her family, she'd have nothing, no safety, no beyonder sequence no anything, and yet she went and caused a riot against her family over food which could quite literally make their whole family either die or get heavily crippled. While everything she has is because of her family.

Her family wasn't even greedy either they just kept enough food for themselves as a backup so that if the war lasted as long as it was meant to then they wouldn't die.

A spectator is a master at controlling people. Audrey is an intelligent and noble character, so it would be a out of the blue is she just suddenly made a stupid decision. Everything is under her control. She only manipulated the masses to protest and intimidate the nobles. Of course, the protesters would have used force if the nobles didn't budge but we know that Audrey knows how the nobles mind work, so no biggie. Though we're at this far in the chapter I thought you would have gotten this train of thought way back.

I know she can control these things, but the reason they're protesting is because of the lack of food due to the war, the nobles hoarded food so that they can not starve, Audrey made this riot which will cause nobles to give up their food including her own family.

If the war lasts for a while then her family would be the one to suffer.

Not really. A few chapters back, they talked about giving up and going to other countries in exchange for some benefits. They will lose sure but they wont lose their life.

Until then, that's just imagined suffering compared to the realized suffering of others at present.

Also consider the differing perspectives. Audrey is volunteering, facing real people's plights. Her parents are not, giving them psychological detachment from other's suffering.

On the wider narrative of the story, remember Audrey's dream when she advanced to be a demigod? And remember the Apotheosis ritual of the Spectator pathway? Her actions are intricately linked to those two.

How was her family not greedy(same with the other nobels/rich people) when their meals were the same as before the war started?
They cared more about their noble dignity than the majority of the population starving to death.

It's not just enough food for backup, it's eating deserts and fois gras for breakfast, and copious meals and delicacies for lunch and dinner!

No offense brother but you must have been reading the last hundred chapters with your eyes closed. She has thought about this course of action and debated it multiple times. Ultimately, she does not wish to passively watch as people starve for her own benefit even if she has to betray those who love her.

Yeah. Klein even explicitly explained why Audrey has to do what she did. The Goddesses anchors are each equally important, ignoring status.

A protest is just riding the tides of the times, rather than say, hoarders suddenly being less hoardy. If 0-08 is the one manipulating this, it will even add "This is a reasonable development." 12

For the first time, Earl Hall experienced the strength of the masses. He experienced the terror of the unity of people.
Well thats how it is. When Famine hits people will go after wealthy people first. Your status will be your doom.
