      Please, explain. What would a phone do? Hm? No signal. No wi-fi. No. One. Else. Has. A. Phone. There is no reason to summon one. And a flashlight would be useless. The point of him having a lantern is that it produces light all around him, stopping the monsters. Flashlights produce little light, it just goes far.

        Broo, don't underestimated a modern society okay? There's hundreds or not a thousand types of flashlight okay? And phone? Can't you use a phone without a signal? Hey use your mind there's tooooooo many apps okay?? He's from a modern World gets?? You can use phone to kill time, it's not like there's no offline games..

          Well we got to remember that Klein says "if I own it before, I can summon it" or at least "have a sufficient understanding of it". I'm pretty sure he's never owned a nuclear warhead or any sort of weapon from what is known of him, nor understood the workings enough. Play offline games? I mean.. i guess? Why use the spirituality though? He's not exactly bored, he's doing things every waking moment. Use a phone without signal to do.. what? Which apps will help you in a supernatural manner? And as for the hundreds, and thousands of flashlights, well I doubt he's owned (or any common person really) any type but the standard one. In our day to day "modern" lives there's little that can help us in a supernatural/wilderness situation without many circumstances being in place. For example, wifi, satellites, storage of land layouts, radiowaves, etcetera.

            Actually may be one of the only plotholes, I believe earlier a requirement stated for an object was that he must have owned it, however he later summoned 0-08 even though he never even touched the thing.

              It was explained why he could summon 0-08. He was nearby and saw it in the ground before Adam grabbed it, and he summoned it while inside Groselle's Travels, using their attraction to each other to forcefully summon 0-08 despite his lack of owning it, though he did know a fair bit about it. It took him multiple attempts and i think only lasted a minute. Was explained in the chapter he summoned 0-08 while escaping from Zaratul.

        why not? go back more in time and use the one patented by Alexander Graham Bell. Instantly rich by the patent in this new world by replacing telegram with wired phone.

        Hell, take a lot of house appliances like rice cooker, washing machine, TV. He'd be more famous than Roselle for changing the society. Even Cars, the component like the battery of it is a super valuable stuff, or even a mere suspension or reclining car seat. Patenting those simple system will make him rich. All he need to do is just show all those to talented mechanic like Melissa and that bike inventor.
