    I always like this kind of perspective when you are already in a high level war, then the story portrayed a perspective from the low end society and how it affect their lives.

    Particularly, I like it even more if there's a side character rising from this. Just like Eragon's cousin on the second book, while Eragon busy himself with all high level battles and war with his dragon, magic and whatnot, his cousin just struggle from the starting village and rose into a brave general that won 1 vs 200 prolonged battle. I hope one from Benson or Melissa become a rising character as well. Maybe Melissa as a Savant? Then we can have Gundam that Roselle dream about. Or Evangelion because Melissa is a woman welldone

      I think Its difficult to show the lower levels in society in this book now due to everybody being of a higher status, even fors and Xio who would have been the poorest out of all of them are now pretty rich and wouldn't normally associate with them.

      And since its a war the poor side of society and even the middle class are going to be having struggles.
