      While it does feel very unreasonable,we haven't seen any other sequence 3 rituals so this could be fairly normal. Also, it does help to explain why Zaratul is the way he is, bc this would very obviously leave mostly everyone who attempts this with a lot of mental issues.

    According to Roselle, Zaratul became a Sequence 1 Attendant Of Mystery, how did he do it..?
    Did he switch Pathway and later switch back...? Is that even possible....? bond

      As we saw, the remains of Zeratul were in the city where Klein was taken away by that "eraser". So maybe he completed the ritual while living in this city for 300 years

          Yes, he lost control while advancing to sequence 1 but it doesn't exclude what I was suggesting.
          I think that the fact that he lost control and was able to regain his consciousness after the exit was open make even more sense to my suggestion

            What? No. You're saying that His escape allowed Him, a Sequence 1 angel, complete the ritual for Sequence 3? The ritual is only needed when advancing to said Sequence so as to weaken the influence potion has on your body and spirit and make you advancement easier. You can also choose to consume the potion without it, however, the chance of not losing control becomes slim. It doesn't matter which option Zaratul chose since he already passed that stage

              - Where did it came from?
              I was assuming that when he was advancing to sequence 3 he completed his ritual in this mysterious place. When ritual was completed he left his marionette and some worms with it when he was leaving this place. And then he successfully became sequence 3 and then sequence 2 beyonder. But when he was trying to advance to sequence 1 (as we know the higher sequence the more dangerous it is when you advancing, even more so when all isn't perfect) he lost control because his "body" wasn't complete for part of it was still in that mysterious place. And when exit was open and his "body" became whole once again he successfully advanced to sequence 1 angel.
              That was my point and I hope you understand me and it wasn't in vain because it took me a lot of time to write it with my bad English)

    I just commented last chapter about how such rituals force individuals to seek outside aid and take huge risks no matter what. lol

    I am confused what is meant by "...be separated from reality...", because it’s not clear to what extent should the separation be to satisfy the requirement of the ritual.

    It's really disturbing knowing the ritual. For all we know, since the gray fog is compatible with the Marauder Pathway (which is good at stealing people's identities) and the fact that all the transmigrators were kept in there to seemingly satisfy this ritual (which could be the hardest one to endure), there could be an existence (maybe the Sequence 0 former Fool or Marauder Pathway God) that is trying to make an artificial version of Black Emperor's revival ritual
