    If Hvin came for Audrey and was killed by Gehrman, it would come out that Audrey was a partner with Gehrman and there is a strong existence behind them (Mr. Fool). Since Hvin would only approach Audrey with the permissions from the Psychology Alchemists, Mr. Fool would make an enemy out of them and in turn, the Fate Hermit Order, which Klein doesn't want.

    So the idea was, Audrey meets the archbishop and Xio prays to the goddess. It will then mean that due to Audrey and Xio's actions, the Nighthawks are alerted and the one responsible for Hvin's death would be the Goddess. The concealment also came from 'her' and not Mr. Fool. Gehrman is also working for 'her'. So, they will make an enemy out of 'her' and not Mr. Fool.

    But what happened was that Hvin came before Xio can get into action. Thus, if Hvin died, Audrey would be traced so she delayed Hvin's actions until Xio would be in the Evernight church. Then, it would be like as if the Nighthawks acted quickly and rescued Audrey.

    Xio were to act as a spy sent by the Evernight Goddess to monitor the Tarot Club. This will tell Adam that Mr. Fool is not the one providing the concealment but the Goddess...

    so let me get this straight
    Hvin was able to outsmart audrey since she was not wearing Lie and i understand Audrey hypnotise him to wait for 15 mins, this all sounds reasonable but the very reason Hvin was there in the first place was because he think Audrey is doing hypnotism for the first time so he wasn’t confident in her, why didn’t he ask himself that question ? I feel like as a demigod if he had asked himself that question it would have been very easy for him to realise that something was wrong
