    Okay, so I have a theory, it's just a speculation since I haven't read further yet.

    I think the ancient sun god was the original sequence 0 or 1 of Shepard pathway, since that will explain how "He" was able to 'take back' (*cough* steal *cough*) authorities from the ancient gods from completely different pathways like spectator pathway from dragons, death pathway from phoenix and moon pathway from lilith. These three doesn't even share neighbouring pathways.

    It could also explain why later "He" had to split his authorities between king of angels, he was probably starting to lose control because to having too many authorities.

      Your presumption is about 10% close to the actual reality - to anyone who hasn't read ahead, it would be quite fitting - but you're wrong on some points, and would be corrected about a 100 chapters later, when more truths are revealed.

      The way Hermes and other historical facts have represented the Shepherd pathway being the Omnipotent part of the Original Creator's honorific name is quite right, yet not the complete truth. There is a lot of information lacking at this point for you to hypothesise that accurately.
