    There is no way this is that simple. They must have discovered Qonas's abnormality (this may be possible if a Sequence 1 angel is involved... I wouldn't be surprised if it's Adam -- a Sequence 1 Spectator is definitely capable of making any evil deed look circumstantial) and made immediate preparations for invasion.

          How would they not know, they used to serve the 2nd creator, it will be stupid of them if they didn't know that he had 2 sons, similarly they would know that they were sequence 1 and also had accommodated the unqiueness.

      Viscount used Katarina pelle to kill Trissy and Qonos also said they are still cooperating with demoness sect and Katarina is head of operations for this cooperation. So not cooperating with Demoness sect is definitely bunch of bs. And even after smog of Backlund they are still continuing cooperation means they are upto no good. And how could saint and even grounded angel even accept such a lame excuse. Their cooperation with Demoness sect is in itself proves this matter needs deeper investigation still even Klein accepted lame excuse proves that there must be power at level of sequence 1 or even god is involved. So I think if there is anything related to distortion of thoughts Klein would definitely sense it above gray fog.
