      You would be able to continue to gain the preliminary control over your own spirit body threads but it would automatically stop before you gain complete control - because as the target of control is yourself, your own thoughts would stop and slow down, leaving the rest of the process for complete control unguided, failing to gain complete control and the whole process would be reversed. Klein actually tried that 😂

    Bets on his next identity.
    - He'll go to Backlund
    - Going there as a low class citizen is problematic
    - So he can either be a noble, tycoon, or have an upper middle class job to help him do things more openly.
    - Nobility is hard to forge, since that's all the nobles care for.
    - Tycoon is fine, but we'd need a reasonable explanation.
    - It's hard to find a good middle class job tho. Bounty hunter seems to attention grabbing after Gehrman. Detective won't do. He can only do history on a professional (let's say) level.

    My guess is either a tycoon, or a professor of history.

      My bet is on Medici guy. The 4th epoch ruins are collapsed, so if it's not him, his presence in the novel would end; without any purpose, which I doubt would happen.

    The book of groselle could be used as a one-time teleport, because Klein is able to drop his blood into the book in the real world, than disappear into the subconscious world via the book, erasing himself from the real world, than he would go above the gray fog, wait until his tired, sleep in the book, ascend to the fog realm another time and so on, for a couple of years, (he could still upkeep his Fool being, so nothing would be lost) and then he would just leave the fog and teleport to the place, where he first used his blood

          But also he can't really erase his existence because the book will stay in the real world anyway, allowing anyone to enter the book world and they can send an experienced beyonder team to kill him.
