    I don't understand why he is completely ignoring the mountain range as an option. It looks the safest choice of the 3 to me, the other 2 having strong demigod(s) in the way, while the mountain range was explored by ordinary archeologists in the past.
    But I will admit the mountain range will have more unknown factors, regardless I think he should give it a try atleast, go there and do a divination when he can to see how far he can go.

      He is ignoring it because of several reasons:

      1. It probably contains the remains of an ancient god. Which he has no way of dealing with.

      2. Because he thinks that it is a trap. The church of the goddess wiped out the Antigonus family. Not to mention Zaratul and the Secret Order have been hunting down any remnants of that family.

      It would be hard to believe that neither one of those factions, or ones that we aren’t aware of, aren’t keeping a watch on that location and anyone who goes near it. We know, and they know, that the Seer path has no path 0 god at this moment.

      It’s quite possible that archeologist was allowed to go there as bait to lure ambitious people out.

      How sure are you that it's the safest? From the moment he became a beyonder he was already hearing the call of that mountain range. That alone makes it highly suspicious. That mountain is anything but safe lol

    Chanis Gate… Saint Samuel Cathedral… Klein recognized the familiarly styled door. Based on the architectural style, he confirmed that the cathedral was the Church of the Evernight Goddess’s headquarters of the Backlund diocese—Saint Samuel Cathedral!

    White paper was spat out and the scene changed as it plunged deep into the darkness. On an empty bookshelf built from bones, there sat an ancient notebook. It was a black hard-covered book.

    i didn't felt anything at the time, but now looking back, the fact that not-level 0 Sealed Artifact Arrodes (lvl 2) could "see" the interior of one of the seven orthodoxy's Chanis Gate, where it housed (at least) level 0 Sealed Artifact is very peculiar to say the least.

    outside the one at the Amantha mt. range, Backlund Diocese is the most well-equipped branch in the Kingdom, not to mention the existence of that (seemingly living ("it" smiled to Klein after bitch slapping Mr. A into oblivion)) Eraser Angel, it only shows how strange and mysterious this matter is

    besides of how special Arrodes in actuality, the help of


    the "depth" of this story is honestly mind-blowing

    This was quite a disappointing chapter.
    Basically no new information.
    Author is really.... sigh

    1st, the mirror is also somewhat disappointing I thought he might have some atleast some (new) 'secret' information about the 4th sequence but all he show all the information mc already knew .. well in picture. All mc learned new & substantial was where that note book is. But guess what I don't think that book is an honest notebook without grave danger in itself.

    2nd, WTF you can show a demigod but no proper description? You can tell mc about an angel hiding in that poets soul as parasite (even that angel parasite's background) but can't tell about that demigods information? How f#cking useless and stupid plot armour is that!

    3rd, WTF with MC's questions. Nothing useful. This Might sound nothing is wrong about it but there is seriously wrong with it. This guy is talking to all knowing mirror!! Don't you have better question to ask? Something that damn mirror can reply accurately??
    Not a single proper to the point questions & answer. What more the all 3 stupid question dosnt Even have a proper answer and mc saying- no I don't have any more questions? eyetwit

    Author why even bother giving this power to mc when you planning to hide everything?

    Author is really dragging too much of mystery. I understand something is better to be revealed later otherwise there will be no surprises & mystery to it but why EVERYTHING is a fking mystery? This ruins things rather than enjoying a mystery novel.

    I wonder why he can't just ask for the formula, because of the plot? I doubt that it was never written on paper or mentioned and if it was, Arrodes could probably figure it out.

      Imagine that Arrodes was actually scheming all along, trying to befriend Klein so he takes him and puts him in the fog while unused, so thay he can steal it, or some other nefarious plot. I'd be shocked.. Or maybe not. Still gotta love the character tho.

    Wait how is it only March 4th? Didn't Klein become a Faceless at the beginning of the year and he said it took him four months to digest the potion? Plus in chapter 706, Ian picked up a newspaper that said something about the King of immortality's attack at the end of march with the guy that Klein previously killed
