        i think the quill here is the story's equivalent of God irl. author use it as a balancer at a particular junction or situations that needs it, without seemingly too over the line. just like the usual stories' World's/Realm's/Universe's/Heaven's Will, while also dissing other stories that uses that kind of God Hand blatantly just for the sake of balance, ｢“A portion of them just happened to land in the forest where Detective Sherlock Moriarty was hiding. Yes, just happened!”｣
