    I can barely remember that plot point because I am pretty sure it was last mentioned over 300 chapters ago minimum, and I love it when the author does that. Just like the foreshadowing with Ince Zangwill who was mentioned only once in the very beginning of the book and we only discovered him to be the mastermind behind all sorts of events a couple hundred chapters later. It adds an ominous yet realistic impression to this otherwise fictional world.

      This is what you call amazing storytelling. If you have played Witcher3, you will know about the genius of it's expansions blood and wine and heart of stone. You meet a random npc in the start of your earliest quests, and that guy is a god like character in the expansion. Truely blows your mind. If you love Slow Paced narratives, go play Withcer 3.
