        There's a problem here. Although english does not have a word to seperate between the fool of the stupid kind and the tarot card fool, in chinese the words are different. The word for the tarot card fool does not have the English equivalent meaning for stupid in that language, so it doesn't work.

        Which is also why Mr. Fool, Honourable Fool, doesn't sound weird or funny within the story.

          I searched up what you just said to verify your claim. I didn’t know that the word fool and The Fool tarot card used different characters in Chinese. That’s interesting!

          In English translation, it’s not that difficult to understand that Klein’s codename, The Fool, has a double meaning referring to both the word and the tarot card.

          Thanks for pointing this detail out!
          Unrelated, but this reminds me that I should check out the other tarot card’s meanings. Just to see if there are correlations between the characters and the tarot card they hold.

      An "old friend" is probably referring to an organization that was previously destroyed by the Church of the Evernight and is now resurrecting. For example: Antiganous family. In this case old friend is a sarcastic remark.

      Huge spoilers but Daly is actually the reincarnation of the Initiator, a being stronger than the Creator himself, and she's just hanging around to have fun. In fact, she helps Klein go back to Earth around chapter 900, at which point Klein realizes the LOTM world needs him more and goes back. Truly a sentimental few chapters.
