      Yeah basically the author is giving you a clue about the abilities of the guy that was with our little sun
      And the clue appearing in a whole different plotline is clever writing but it's a little bit convenient
      In the other hand if this was mentioned before the sun met Amon most readers will connect the dots easily if he mentioned way later most readers won't connect the dots at all
      So he mentioned it right after for it to be fairly challenging to connect this " parasite" ability to that Amon guy
