    A two-handed rapier

Am i the only one whose never heard of a 2handed rapier? Theyre those long pointy swords you see in fencing and are wielded one handed. What would even be the point in making it 2hand? Theyre already very manuverable.

It would be something similar to an estoc with a hand guard, I'd say

An estoc makes sense; though having a handguard on a 2hander would prolly get in the way more than help.

A fairly simple fight, but it was crazy if you analyzed the strategy more deeply from the moment he started throwing the matchsticks bond

Exactly, that's what this novel is about, thinking deeper because not everything you see is what it is, sometimes we must look beyond

Instead of following his instructions, Klein took out a matchbox, took out a few of them, and put them in his trouser pocket. He lit and blew out a few other matchsticks before throwing them at various corners of the cathedral. Then, he adjusted the positions of the paper figurines, paper notes, long strips of paper, Azik’s copper whistle, and various charms

What's the use of that matchbox, I don't understand. Can a kind gentleman please explain it to me

But he was blowing the matchsticks so there was no longer a fire for him to control, or is it that he needs things that can caught fire easily or something.

I don’t know if you’re asking about the part where he took out the matchboxes or when he was throwing the matchsticks.

      But regarding the matchsticks:

Klein was already aware that the dreamland location would be the same as the real world location he was in, so throwing the matchsticks was just him setting up a better environment for the fight
Also, this was something only Klein knew we didn’t so don’t worry. (pretty sure? Or it's just shit translation OR I missed some text)

The matchsticks still had some fire in them, you know how they’re slightly red and glowing after you blow the fire? That was basically it
He was basically setting them up for flame jumping so he could teleport to their locations.

There were also already a couple of candles around the church (specifically two), so he could use those if needed.
Also, he doesn’t need an existing flame source to ignite the matchsticks, his ability lets him ignite anything flammable even without a source of fire.

      As for the matchboxes:
He was just switching their positions so he could take them out more easily.
He took out a matchbox → to get the matchsticks.
He took out a few → to place them somewhere more convenient.
It’s the same thing he did with the other objects.
