          At mid sequences, fighting between different levels is pretty even. You’ll see more examples later on, but basically although each sequence gets stronger than the previous one, that doesn’t necessarily mean that a seq five can easily beat a seq six the same way that a seq four (qualitative change) can beat a seq five. The fact that this particular Shepherd so easily beat a Conspirer (belonging to a pathway known for high firepower) is indicative of just how versatile and strong Shepherds are.

          So, to TL;DR, it’s not crazy that he beat a sequence six; it’s crazy that he so easily beat a sequence six on the “high firepower rah rah war and combat and shit” pathway.
