      Why is he useless in all aspects besides his carefulness. I don’t agree with that he’s much better than most other MCs I’ve read about.
      He just doesn’t happen to be overpowered and keep getting powerful items left and right all the time for no other reason than plot armour.
      I love the way this story is written, the pace, the characters and world building is one of the best I’ve seen

      On the contrary, I don’t find him useless at all, his carefulness and his planning abilities make him a top tier mc in my opinion. If anything I would say low sequence beyonders of the support pathways like seer, mystery pryer savant are useless considering his sequence and his achievements I would say he has exceeded expectations.
      About the grey fog I’m glad the author didn’t go the route of “oh it’s a boon of the reincarnation I already know everything about it and use it awesomely to destroy all competition.” I love that he figures it out along as he goes much like the readers.

            but yes, he's thorough and careful, he's never fall into the same hole, he's aware of his strength and weakness, and he's never complacent. MC is one of the best there is, that's actually one of the foundation that made the story so phenomenal
