        My first thought was that maybe the Goddess won't help him as easily now that he isn't a member of the Nighthawks anymore, which are members of the Church.
        But yes, it's also possible that contacting the Goddess would make her aware of his survival, and while she herself might not care that much, it might make it easier for a Mystery Pryer/Seer or someone with similar powers, and affiliated to the Goddess to percieve him through divination.
