    I really have to compliment the author: the characters he's created are incredibly nuanced and intelligent. Each character feels self-consistent and believably observant. I've been consistently and thoroughly impressed with this novel so far.

            What I meant before was that you can have high hopes for his development, he wont be just a silent little kid who is a small fry even in his place by the end of a novel. His progression is quite impressive considering how weak and naive he started off as
