    I'm actually quite a bit disappointed in this transmigrator gimmick instead of Copper Whistle with his "clear conscience when dreaming" ability. He could've turned into a conscious zombie and then found a way for true revival in the future.

      I think he meant the things beyonders leave behind after dying. And if you remember, Leonard was confused about why would the killer take away only Klein's beyonder characteristic but not Dunn's. But the reason Klein's beyonder characteristic wasn't found is that he didn't die.

        Yeh i know now but didnt then. Although im still not sure what they are exactly...might of missed it or im not far enough in. I just know that they are some kind of essence of beyonder power, they vary by sequence and they appear after death.
        Oh and apparently they cant be destroyed, hope that aint a spoiler.

          In the case you're still confused about characteristics because it's kind of important. Basically, when a beyonder dies, their beyonder abilities and ingredients can't just go away, they can only be transformed. So they bond with something nearby and become a 'characteristic'. Essentially just a piece of concentrated by wonder power that can be used to make a potion or a beyonder item
