        He might be right about it. The MC can't bring much to the table mainly because of two reasons. 1. He is also a chinese and similar background so most of lines, memes, stories whatever have already been squeezed dry as obvious based on the earlier conversation with the captain. 2. He does not have a engineer or medical background based on all the chapters read so far meaning he can't bring much development either but the Emperor before him bought a literal revolution thus showing his background as a engineer. In short the MC though might become stronger based on the learning from the emperors notes but he won't bring shit when it comes to development.
