    So pretty much i heard about it some time ago, then I saw that the anime came out so I wanted to read the comic first, after reaching chapter 64 I realised that it's been dropped, I watched the first 2 episodes of the anime and besides the animation which is just AMAZING, top notch.... but the pacing is an abomination, which i heard should be better from episode 4 onwards, meanwhile I'll just start reading the novel

      If you dropped SS after 100 chaps, LOTM might not be for you. The first 200 chapters are pretty slow, then it escalates and shit hits the fan at the end of Arc 1. If you can make it until then however, you will find a masterpiece waiting for you.

        Yeah, I've already dropped it after reaching chapter 40 and seeing no change. My type of novels are like Reverend Insanity, birth of the demonic sword, sword god in a world of magic. Basically novels that are power oriented. Sigh

          Those kinds of novels are like cheap crack from a tweaker in a dirty alley in Birmingham. Good, quick high but not true story (I heard RI is different but I won’t comment on it since I haven’t read it) but the likes of lotm is like good high quality fent. Hard to get your hands on with a long wait, but the high (usually at the end of volumes) is amazing. Same with Shadow Slave. Both of them are exceptional novels and I highly suggest you try them again
