    I have done 3 day fasts and that was not so bad. It is just the first time fasting really hurts and your mind fills with negative emotion.
    I can imagine that fasting more than a week being brutal.
    Here is my experience with it:
    I usually fast once a weak on sunday for the clarity of mind that comes with it.
    It also makes the summer heat bearable by saving the energy otherwise used on digestion.
    Actually sane people fast for the health benefits 1-3 day fasts give them (cellular repair and weightloss). Turns out fasting is pretty much the best method to prevent most forms of cancer. Wouldnt recommend fasting over longer periods than a day for weight loss tho. Restricting eating windows to about 6-8 hours a day (excluding at least 4 hours before bed) is much better for that purpose.

    I also tried fasting for longer than a day.
    What I noticed is that hunger comes in waves. The first one starts when your stomach is empty and then worsens over a couple of hours. The next few waves come about twice a day. They are less intense than the first one but tend to get more painful the longer you fast.

    I mean, my strat would already be to treat the day before the rule release like Fat Tuesday and indulge, especially since a previous bodily need challenge came up.

    This one is pretty survivable. It'll suck but you can definitely do it.
