    Background info is that Myanmar is commonly considered (in china) to be extremely dangerous bc kidnapping and trafficking of Chinese peeps who wander too close to the region
    A google search for whether Myanmar is safe (i dunno, it was the first recommendation) wasn't too optimistic about vacation prospects there, anyway
