    This doesn't make much sense to me. The sun is always rising at some point of a planet.
    Couldn't you just keep flying away from the sunset to keep getting 'purple qi?'

    Hmmm...if we go purely into alchemy the method of equivalent exchange could apply here as well, no matter what the material is, if you use enough spiritual energy, you could theoretically create a material equivalent to the material + spiritual energy expended and that should only work because technically, the spiritual energy is the energy of heaven and earth...at least this is how I am rationalizing this and in the concept of a Dharma's end scenario it does make sense. Also, given that spiritual energy is practically non-existent in this world, it's value should also differ...I suppose?

        i think when heaven and earth qi flows the concepts are diluted into the and form the special qi of the tiagrams and etc. but as this world is chi less the concepts are too concentrated and not extracted and scattered into billion of cultivators like normal. so mc is using a resource that no one can use.
