This is the real final chapter guys. There won’t be any more updates until the end of the year or even longer due to the author’s announcement on Discord. Just letting you know.

Check my comment on chapter 446. There I put the announcement the author put on discord. I honestly expected ranobes to take much longer to upload the missing chapters of webnovel priv chaps, but they didn't take as long as I thought, and that's why I put it in that chapter.

Ah, hope he gets better. But damn, another long hiatus. This is probably a sign for me to quit reading, lmao. Got any recs I could check before I tap out?

Well I got a couple reads I’m following rn:

            - Hell difficulty tutorial
Probably the best MC I’ve ever seen in a story, if not the best, then at least in my top 2. Be patient with the first floor; everything seems very chaotic, and there are one or two inconsistencies in everyone’s mindset. But oh boy, is it worth it afterward. You can find it on Ranobes. (I haven’t read LOTM, and I’m waiting for SS to finish, since I put it in hold like 4 years ago but I’ve read a ton of novels, and I’m certain that at the very least, this is my favorite MC. That guy is insane.)

            - The Martial Unity

A long-ass read, but it’s worth it if you’re fascinated by martial arts with that touch of originality that’s rarely seen nowadays. It’s the author’s first story, so the beginning has a lot of infodumps, but it’s definitely worth it. I currently have it on hold at chapter 3197 because the author said the story will end this year, or at the latest, early next year, so I’m waiting. You can also find it on Ranobes.

            - Cleaver of Sin

A typical overpowered MC story, but very enjoyable. It’s a fun read as long as you don’t pay too much attention to how some fights get dragged out and how much time is given to the POVs of minor side characters. A decent read. Unfortunately, it’s not on Ranobes, but you can find it on sites like n0 velbin.

            - SSS Awakening: I Can Change Class at Will

It’s good, but honestly, I’d recommend waiting for more chapters. I’m caught up, and the story still has a lot left to develop. I’d put it on the same tier as Cleaver of Sin, but a little lower tho. It’s not on Ranobes either, but you can read it on n0 velbin as well.

            - I’m Not a Regressor

A novel I put on hold about three years ago, mainly because the translation had been dropped and I didn’t want to read MTL. I’m currently reading it again, and I’m enjoying it. It has a different and somewhat original take on the regressor concept. You can find it here on Ranobes. It’s still ongoing because the translator is releasing chapters daily, but they’ll probably catch up with the remaining chapters by the beginning of next month.

            That’s everything I’m currently following.

As for completed novels I’ve read recently and enjoyed the most, they would probably be:

            - Kill the Sun
            - Embers Ad Infinitum
            - Beyond the Timescape
            - Yuan’s Ascension

The last two are cultivation xianxia novels, with Beyond the Timescape probably being the best one of that genre I’ve read, although I felt the ending was rushed. Even so, it was still decent, just like the other cultivation novel.

I’ve finished a lot more novels, but I don’t think they’re worth recommending because the ones I’ve completed lately haven’t really given me that spark or I simply didn’t enjoy them much (anything below a 3.3/5 rating by my personal standards). Maybe it’s because I’ve grown older and matured. After all, I’ve been reading these kinds of novels for around 6–7 years, so you can imagine how many cliché tropes I’ve come across.

Anyway, enough of my rant. I hope this helped you and anyone else who happens to read this comment.
