    When did Warma get so good at writing emotional scenes like this? In LiTOW it was all people gritting their teeth and realizing that Gravis was right and there were basically no actual emotions in the "emotional" scenes, just pure logic.

      Yeah he definitely improved in that way. Hes really hammering home the "different people have different opinions even if presented with similar evidence". For example Swamp dragon is smart, he knows what karmic luck is for but he still somehow percieves it as mostly just. I really like it because it resembles real life more than before.

      Cause that was his first novel.
      In sword god in a magical world warma became good at writing mentally broken MC.
      In kill the sun, warma wrote a really smart MC with problems like each cities needing their own unique solution to which warma gave us readers a read good plot to read.
      Now in his 4th novel he is using all of his experience to give us a novel polished of emotional characters, very well thought out plot and amazing story line that I can't predict
