      Don't know about that last sentence, but I agree with you in general all the same. Species can't interbreed, double so for beastmen who are 50 species in one, so tribalism gives them the go ahead to see them as little else but cows you can talk to. Hard to feel sympathetic for weaklings when we're at the headquarters of a people who exacerbated a war to get stronger and responded to the frankly horrific acts of the lionkin with "let's genocide them".
