Surprisingly good book, the combat choreography in certain parts leaves something to be desired, but aside from that it's good, of course if the author focuses More on the academic side (not that it doesn't focus on it, I just think it could have more), nice book.😎🤙👍.

Book 2 is actually unbearable to read since the translator thought it was a good idea to start italicizing stuff, either randomly or for emphasis.
It's like you have someone standing next to you, trying to tell you how to read it, and that someone isn't even the original author.

But thankfully the actual novel is pretty good, at least to the point where I haven't given it up yet despite the sabotage.

Edit: Thankfully it stops at around Book 2 ch.37. No more complaints from me

###panic### book2 chp 13-15 lack around third text in comparison with MTL. Maybe others chps have the same problem, but especially here it felt that much that I went to check.

I read the raw of all chapters released up to the present moment.

I thought I was going to have to defend this novel. First, I want to make it clear that it disappointed me a lot, but even so, it doesn't have any of the nonsense that some readers wrote in the comments, clearly without having read anything.

It's a novel with a very solid beginning, it's a niche story, slow and gradual. The entire first book is quite enjoyable to read, especially if you really liked the premise of the protagonist being partially in two different worlds. I think that during the first book, the author manages to give enough attention to both worlds and establish pleasant relationships with characters in both worlds as well. Everything gets much worse in the second book, for many reasons. One of them is that out of nowhere, the author seems to have decided to change the climate pre-established during the entire first book. Out of nowhere, it turns into a xianxia focused on comedy, extremely inspired by 'Who Let Him Cultivate Immortality', complete with a super competent, protective but strict older sister and a lazy, rotten personality master who, despite this, is very powerful. But the abrupt change in climate isn't the worst. The worst is that the author doesn't have nearly the same creativity as the author of 'Who Let Him Cultivate Immortality', so the comedy scenes are inferior in every way. The modern world is increasingly left aside, the previous seriousness is being replaced by bad and forced humor, and the novel that was once full of personality is gradually becoming a chaos without identity.
