    I like seeing the fact that the Bureau is clearly the organization most morally and emotionally compatible with Sol. He literally has to hold himself back from feeling happy and proud from his good work and remind himself that this isn't his duty and his goal is to go home.

    I say that Sol gets something different out of each of the orgs(i think we may still see the cult later).

    if anybody remembers, I made two theories awhile back about Soleum being a ghost story and another about the Earth. The reason I bring this back up is because for one, during the first chapter when MC is being transported into this world, Soleum says that "The world was painted black." We know that areas of darkness are ghost story like areas, thanks to good friend Braun. So, to add more fuel to the fire of Soleum being potentially a ghost story is the fact that when he went to this world, everything was painted black. Alternatively, it could be added reason to suspect that the Earth is filled with Ghost Stories and that using the wish potion will just end with Soleum returning to Earth for a short while before he drops into another Ghost Story.

    Another detail that I don't think I mentioned that is important is the fact that Lizard Chief is a Lizard. While it is acceptable that characters like Director Ho, although important, is not mentioned in what Soleum read because a director would not be the main focus of something like the ghost stories. Just look at SCP with the 05 council, although important, little information about any of the council members are known. For Lizard Chief who is a character that's shown off and is the focus of several ghost stories, it is unreasonable to assume that it is never revealed in any story that the Chief is an actual Lizard, especially when he is tied to several important things like the alien store or the intergalactic alliance(?). What I'm trying to say is that the Ghost Stories that Soleum read do not provide him all of the actual information about everything, in other words, whatever Soleum read, or reads is somehow incomplete, either in a malicious manner, or in a never finished way. All of this is just to say that this is more evidence for the fact that the Earth exists in the same ghost story realm because if the Earth really was the 'true reality' it would make sense for Soleum to know all the information, however, Lizard Cheif provides the gap to show that Earth is not the superieor reality and is still susceptible to ghost stories.

    I'm really curious to see if we ever get a scenario where Soleum has zero information on a Ghost Story. I feel like in a horror novel, it would be such a miss to not utilize the fear of the unknown at some point, especially in a novel where the Mc's main boon is their knowledge.
