I read 75 chapters of the novel so far, don't know if I will read more honestly.
The novel is very rushed, as much as I hate it when the author's milk their novels, sometimes it's necessary to build up the novel and the world around the MC.

Like, for example; I read the first chapter and I legit though it was one of these first chapter summaries some author's do, and I just skimmed to get to the second chapter to get to the "real" start of the novel, only to be surprised with yet another "summary".. and another.. and another.. loading
Until I realized this is just how the author wrote in general.
It felt like the author took a real chapter and put it in GPT with "summarize" at the end.

Can't say I didn't like the novel, i actually quite like it, but there are a lot of cringe worthy stuff with the way he interact with people or his thoughts on some subjects. But that wasn't the deal breaker for me, but the rushed summary like feeling it gave.

It has a good potential, but sadly the author is an immature at best, I hope one day, when he know better, he can look back at this novel again and rewrite it, so I can enjoy his vision for it truly.

So I've read up to around chapter 216 and can honestly say this is a good or average slice of life novel. First let's start with the bad, the novel is a little anti sematic with bringing up how a group runs hollywood. The next bad point is time is meaningless and somewhat random for example he just goes about a movie a Year one year then like 3 in the next all of a sudden he randomly says it's been five years. Only other bad point is the odd conflicts with people like Harvey weinstien and his old agents company. The conflict seems to only stress the protagonist and that's it.

Now the good points are it's very easy to read and follow the movie development. The writer seems to stagger chapters in groups for example 3 chapters of filming followed by two for development, causing the novel to be easily understood even if you know nothing about movies.

Honestly it's a good read for speeding through but only if you like movies. I'd say it's a solid 3 if you like this type of novel maybe a 3.5.

One of my earliest novels was similar to this, “I am a superstar” or something… so I think the idea can work - I also recently read some English original stories similar as well.

    We will see

Yeah, I am just saying that a lot of these entertainment novels are Korean... I am commenting on entertainment novels as a genre itself not directly about this novel though this novel is a entertainment novel

Mostly korean entertainment novels focus on the artist himself or pds. I find chinese novels more like this one. Hollywood production, I'm in Hollywood, King of Hollywood etc.
