A realm where humans battle monsters and the good die young.

4 weeks ago Will woke up in a new world filled with Monsters and Magic.

Thrust into this new reality with nothing more than a class called “soldier” and a leveling system he’s never seen before, Will fights just to survive.

When he stumbles across a dying stranger, a mysterious quest line activates.

Now Will must head to the front lines where humanity wages war against a ruthless Goblin Horde. There he will join the standing Kadian Army and forge his name from the fires of legend.

He’ll have to face Goblins, Hordes of the Undead, cultists, and demons from hell. And that’s just before breakfast.

Читаю в переводе и могу сказать, что язык очень бедный. Читать невозможно. Может оригинал лучше, не знаю.

I would give it "4-" overall.
    What to expect:

-A world of Battle Brothers with Heads Will Roll progression.
-Slight plot armor (no MC will survive without it).
-A nice pace of events, where we are not forced to live every minute of the Hero's life. (We don't need to see, how Aragorn puts on his trousers every day and takes them off at rest stops)
-An interesting world, only dimmed by the nonexistent history of it's growth.

The character is nice, the writing is unexpectedly good, the story is captivating.

If not for the world-building, it would be great.
__But it still irks me, that in a world of magic and monsters they still use normal, wooden carriages, travel alone into the wildlands and forests and come out alive, despite the horrors of the night and the constant threat of lesser monsters.
(i.e. They move through the forest and survive a spider attack via sheer luck. They go to the forest in the evening and fend off a horde of hundreds, if not thousands, of creatures the whole night.
__But on the next day, we get to know, that soldiers and civilians go to the lake nerby to wash themselves... alone. For f#cks sake! It's not lone wolves and bears we are talking about. Spiders the size of a room, nearly invisible goblin hordes, fiends with bodies meant for slaughter... and all of them posses superhuman speed and strength, not to mention poisons and quirks of magic.
__Sure, lets go alone, boys! It's a five minute adventure. In and out!)

Cliché, cliché, cliché. Nothing groundbreaking, read it if you want to sleep or don't have junk food to read.

Since you have a habit of rating books on ranobes why don't you create a public listing/review of books on your profile?

I was bored out of my mind after 6 chapters.
The way to level up looked good the setting is meh but could develop into something pretty nice if well done.
However I really dislike the way the novel started. You have no informations on the MC, and apparently it'll come through flashbacks, at least till where I am it has been done like this and I just don't like it.
Yeah you know things thanks to the synopsis, more than through reading the novel, but the mysteries the novel tries to convey is misplaced and just annoying to me as a reader.

I'd give 2/5 as of right now (won't rate it here or on RR where I read because only read 6 chapters). There is many more novel in this world to read so I won't stay on this one where the synopsis is more entertaining than 6 entire chapters.

      Машина переводит невычитанный текст автора.
При всём при этом, в тексте много терминов эпохи средневекового рыцарства.

Ясен пень машина не справляется xD

    Good story.

Takes 5-10 chapters to get hooked, but MCs development, the world building starting to become a little more interesting, his powers developing while not being OP, side characters being well-written, and good action scenes -

A solid, “realistic” medieval fantasy action story that take a few chapters to get its legs under it. Definitely give it a chance

That... Is the most basic plotline I have ever read. Everything in the synopsis is just one cliche after another. Nothing stands out.

    It's actually quite remarkable really...

A way to make sense of grimdark is no one survives to their full lifespan without something cutting them apart. No village will remain a quait place. No king is good. Good people die very fast. Bad people die very slow
      Gods are uncaring
