Well after reading this till chapter 969 I'd say it got 2.5 to 2.7 stars

The reason I stop at chapter 969 is only because I hope he will be smarter, but nope. So I stop at a pretty number 969

The story is simple, it's neither good nor bad, it's enough to pass the time, the world is well constructed, at least better than many novels I've read, there's nothing to read, it might be a good idea but I wasn't too strict with the details of the logic (English is not my strong point
)

Good story to kill time, bad story if you want to read something meaningful and worth remembering. A lot of plot holes, inconsistencies and poorly translated chapters.
Go in expecting a story of sloppy reality TV level of quality where a lot of things happen in a comically obvious manner for the sake of advancing the plot.

Honestly, I Have a Disciple Simulator is just dumb. Like, really dumb. The whole plot is one big loop: the MC gets a disciple, gives them some random OP item, and then – surprise! – that item comes back to him, but now it’s worth like 1000x more. Sometimes even 100 million times more. So guess what? He becomes even more OP. Rinse and repeat.

Here’s how it goes: he beats up some generic bad guy, flexes his insane powers, takes on another disciple, and the cycle starts again. His old disciple levels up and sends him even more ridiculous gifts, making him stronger, and the loop never ends. There’s zero tension because the MC never loses. Why? Plot armor thicker than a tank. If there's a 0.00001% chance he needs something to win, it's happening, guaranteed.

But wait, it gets worse. The translation starts out okay, but after a few chapters? Yeah, it takes a nosedive. I’ve seen better Google Translate outputs. It’s basically one of Web Novel’s AI translations, so don’t expect much – it reads like a low-effort machine translation.

In short, if you’re into brainless power-ups and an MC who never breaks a sweat, sure, you might get a kick out of this. But if you’re looking for anything resembling a real plot or decent writing… well, LOL, good luck.

Eehhh. It's not good and it's not bad. I just read this when i got nothing else to read.

It's trashy, but since i like reading trash that's not a problem. Loot, numbers going up, overly generous system, it's alright.
Both the translation and formatting of the text are somewhat dodgy, but still readable.
It's the kind of slop you read to waste some time, keeping you somewhat entertained. I would recommend it if you have nothing else to read.

Somehow I feel the tl is good and bad at the same time, it might just be fourth stage mtl disease affecting me
