Was never a big fan of Yin and Yang being tied to gender in cultivation, it makes sense for Mortals since they dont have control over shit but like i dont think there's anything preventing men from just cultivating yin energy like this

It is not like that. I generally doesn't like cultivating Yin energies and all the yin wood, death spirit nonsense. Atleast with woman the yin cultivation will look more like ice element or water element and all.

You enjoy evil protagonists? It's a bit early to tell. Remember that he is pretty vulnerable to be abandoned and chucked away, for now...
I prefer protagonists with morals, personally.

Personally for me, kindness is a right for the strong. The weak has no right to be kind. Until you are the strongest, you shouldn't be kind.

            People change.

My current stance is "Being Kind automatically qualifies me as Strong"

Sure they do. Btw, kindness is the decision to act on goodwill, so a lot of "kindness" can be classified as just "unable to do your own thing and reject". I try to not do these, haha. Valid position tho. Just wanted to point out what a kind act is. Of course, if we dig even further, we will eventually arrive at the conclusion that kindness doesn't exist in a bigger frame, but it doesn't really matter

Eh, going out of your way to be cruel sound like a sure way to create unnecessary enemies. Best to find balance, being kind or cruel should depend on the circumstance.

    >Li Xiangping nodded in understanding and exclaimed, “Such miraculous artifacts, capable of harnessing the forces of heaven and earth, are indeed rare.”

How the hell would you know? You're not a cultivator, you have no idea what is rare for them and what is not, you don't even know the value of the mirror. More so, the father of the family (whatever hi Li name is) said that if this mirror was important it's owner would already took it away before the Li family found it. So it's not important by the Li family own words.

For the average mortal, any cultivator's treasure is an incalculable treasure, this is how it is in most novels. It's not about whether this is rare or not, even if such treasures were common among cultivators, it still wouldn't be something that ordinary people could obtain.

        >It's not about whether this is rare or not

Read again the exact words of the character: "Such miraculous artifacts, capable of harnessing the forces of heaven and earth, are indeed rare".
Do you see the word "rare" in the quote or not? Is this word somehow invisible for you?
The character himself said that this is about rarity and you say no, it's not about rarity.

        >For the average mortal, any cultivator's treasure is an incalculable treasure

But exactly the same "average mortal" made statements about what treasure is rare and what is not.
Do you ever read my comment?
The character said not "this treasure is rare", or "all immortal treasures are rare", he said "treasure of >this exact type< is rare".

The guy is literally just a peasant from a rural medieval village, hasn't even been in a sect before, do you think he's capable of knowing if something is really rare or not? That's just what he thinks, doesn't mean it's true

It's just common sense. Considering the mirror is something that can give regular people the opportunity to start cultivation, of course it's rare otherwise, everyone would have one or know of it
