The title and synopsis is scam, 200 chapter I thought MC would be literally Mechanical Alchemist. What we get is fcking he just wander arround looking for material to advance his job, just like LOTM where u need to gather certain material to level up. bullshit 🙄 MC got OP talent (similar to plunder) but everything get nerfed so hard that he only get stronger by level up his job which is gathering material.
Early 80 chapter is good,we get really cool enjoyable cyberpunk story with magic etc. But later it just become annoying job advancement gathering material journey. MC Mechanical Alchemist is nowhere to be found. He steal lot of mechanical armor and nowhere to be seen the so called legion. There is no puppet let alone mecha puppet like in synopsis. What a crab. No wonder the rating so low

I read this book a while ago on MTL. Yet, the dirt of terrible grammar could not cover the glow of its brilliance.

I personally liked the book and read more than half of it, but had to stop for some reason and ultimately forgot the chapter no. Too lazy to search or re-read, I hereby give my review based on my recollection.

P.S. I shall mention things too far off from the translation further into the story. Read at your own risk. Spoiler Beware.

PREMISE
> The Main Theme is decidedly SteamPunk, but the Mythological Elements have been merged seamlessly by introducing them as Talents, something similar to innate powers.
> World Building is good, Characters are sketched out, Powers are balanced, Threat level is maintained, and Progression is balanced.
> The Plot progresses well, neither too fast nor too slow, the Power Scaling is just... perfect. No crazy powerups, but specific, well-though gains with certain foreshadowing.

How's the romance for this novel?

I read this on MTL. It's a very good novel.

In this world, the powerful are all alchemists, it is a world similar to the first world revolution. There is technology, but it is not as advanced, or unique, in addition to there being magical and divine elements.

The MC is the intelligent, cunning type who knows how to handle himself. Throughout the story he solves several mysteries and increasingly advances in power. He is not overpowered to the point of ignoring everything, but he is quite strong.

It was a very satisfying read for me on MTL, I love smart MCs and planners, I recommend it.

Tl;dr: the translation seems to be on hiatus. There is a translation done up to 250, but all those after 216 are locked/paywalled.

So did some checking about the status of this novel. The Novelupdate link is to the right novel, but only has like 17 chapters from 2023.

Based on the Translator name on here, I went to their site but they, for some reason, only have up to Chapter 101.

Based on their links, it seems that they have actually uploaded the translation on a site called "pawread". Sadly on there it says the novel is on hiatus. It has up to Chapter 216 (the current latest Chap here on Ranobes) free and up to 250 total translated, though those are locked behind a paywall.

They technically still have the novel in their "Ongoing novels" page on the translators site, but since all the chapters after 101 are only available on "pawread" I think the status on there is much more likely to be true, unfortunately.

When will be next chapter???
It's been 19 days

I'm at chapter 90 and so far he's only used puppets 1 time for a very short fight... he's more of a gunslinger than he is a puppeteer or alchemist.
