''Others level up and I cultivate immortals, and then go out of the mountain until Mahayana'' the title is cliché, but the story is S-tier

For me, it can compare to novels like: My Longevity Simulation, Journey of the Fate destroying Emperor, Top Tier Providence, and Secretly Cultivate for a Thousand Years. I think its a little worse than Beyond the Timescape.

    Better than expected.

Definitely a bit cliche in the first arc, but the quality goes way up when they leave the tutorial planet. The MC turns out to be a well adjusted and rational human being which is a big plus. He is a bit ruthless but isn't too arrogant to make friends with weaklings. There is no harem, MC has a loyal and smart girlfriend who isn't useless.

In conclusion: This novel is better than it probably deserves to be, I recommend if you like the idea of apocalyptic hunger games on different planets.

I'd disagree with the MC's description. He's prideful to a fault, gets scammed frequently, fails in the prep and caution department but the author let's him get away with it in this power fantasy story, and is, in general, pretty apathetic about others. His altruism, and sense of ethics in general, is pretty whimsical.

And that's not to mention the whole general culture of 'everyone for themselves' and classism predominant in many Chinese novels.

But that's not too important because the novel is really just about power and levelup fantasy.

I agree with the other reply here. The description given is not accurate AT ALL. MC gets extremely overconfident quickly, allows himself to get taken advantage of/scammed and the like.

He is definetly not consistent at all. He can go from slicing someone in half for not liking them, to allowing a clear enemy to live multiple times, and then even when he finally kills him, he doesn't bother dealing with the subordinates and says he welcomes them trying to attack him.

At one point some group finds a skill wheel guarded by a boss too high level for them, so MC takes one of them along for direction and drives the boss away basically solo (with help from HIS companion, NOT the guide) but then he is fine with allowing the guide an equal opportunity to spin the wheel even though he literally knows she has an insanely high luck value, especially compared to him. And then, when she inevitably gets one of the best prizes, she gives him a clearly insanely inflated price to sell and thinks about selling it to a guy who is literally the leader of an enemy base... and if that isn't bad enough, MC offers to escort her back to her team for free as well.

He is fine with defending weak strangers for no reason, and then other times torturing enemies to get them to transfer him their points by promising he will let them go, then easily going back on his word and killing them regardless.

Also disagree about his girlfriend too. She IS loyal, which is good. But she isn't particularly smart when it comes to matters involving MC
and she has definitely not been useful for the majority of this second world.

I came back to this novel because I didnt remember why I stopped, but I understand now why I did.

        Hope this helps.

Just a cheap and easy OP MC feed of rewards. Literature fast food. But not McDonalds. More like Burger King and their shitty fries.

Typical qidian/webnovel trash. Better translation quality than average but still very inconsistent word usage.

Good for reading when you have nothing else, but like junk food, you probably won't feel great after consuming this.

Extremely cliché. The world basically revolves around the protagonist. Expect a lot of slaps in the face and a protagonist doing things completely out of character for someone common in the modern era.
